   Mr. Hawthorn,

   I have started a small real estate rental business. I know have 2 Single Family Rentals and am in the process of purchasing my 3rd. I have not set up a LLC but am in the process. The goal is for retirement. We do not use this income for salary. It’s just me and my wife in the business. We live in Texas. Here are my questions:
   1. Do I set up 1 LLC or a LLC for each with an Umbrella LLC?
   2. Do I do a single or double (my wife)?
   3. How do I get the properties into the LLC once I get the LLC set up?
